Textures of Humanity Exhibition
Textures of Humanity is an evolving photographic project, exhibition, and book exploring culture, craft, identity, and everyday beauty across Africa. Rooted in years of travel, collaboration, and lived experience, the work moves fluidly between portraiture, fashion, interiors, food, and landscape—united by a shared sensitivity to texture, presence, and human connection.
First presented as an immersive exhibition in Nigeria and now realized as a published photography book, Textures of Humanity extends beyond the printed page. It lives as a growing ecosystem of images, conversations, dinners, sound, and storytelling—created in collaboration with artists, designers, chefs, and cultural makers across the continent and the diaspora.
The project invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and engage with Africa not as a monolith, but as a collection of distinct voices, materials, histories, and contemporary expressions—modern, layered, and deeply human.
